Week 75

Tengo una nueva compaƱera Hermana Owen de Idaho! We had special transfers and she will be here with me in Llo Lleo for 3 more weeks! Just when I thought I wouldn't have any more companions I got another one. Each has been such a blessing for me and I love all 12 of them so so much.

I am running out of things to say after more than 70 emails to you all but I think today I just want you all to know that I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I love how merciful He is with me and I love how every detail of my little life is important to Him. Every little thing I have needed in the mission He has helped me with so much and I am just so thankful.

I read a scripture a while back that helped me a ton, Phillipians 4:13. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I have been able to live in a different country and speak a different language and eat different food for 17 months only because Christ has helped me to do so. He is here to strengthen us all. I hope we can all confide in Him more this week and be a little more like Him.

I love you all.

Week 74

This week... rain
                        rain
                               rain
We received way too much rain this week. We worked a ton and entered house after house hearing people´s stories and their problems they are having and it has been hard mentally. We have NO  idea how blessed we are. On Friday I was feeling low knowing that so many of my investigators were suffering and I couldn't do much for them when my district leader asked us if we wanted a blessing(answer to my prayer #1)
He gave me such a sweet blessing and blessed me to know how happy God is with me here in Chile(answer to prayer #2) I have been wanting to know my whole mission if God was truly happy with my service and that blessing helped me so so much.
Like I say every week, God lives and He knows us. I have never been so sure of anything.
Yesterday talking to you in skype made me the happiest girl alive because I realized I sacrificed a year and a half being with you guys to help other families and I saw how much God has been blessing my family. Families are eternal.
I sure love you all. Be good. Read your scriptures.

Week 73

Sandra and Benjamin were baptized!
Sandra and her 3 sons have listened to the missionaries for 3 years now and last year the two younger boys were baptized but quickly inactivated. Since I have been here in Llo Lleo I have had the amazing opportunity to get to know this family and I was able to see the two younger boys return to church and last Friday I got to see Sandra and Benjamin get baptized. God has led me to some of the most amazing families I have ever met and that have changed my life forever.
I know I say this every week and I am sure you're all sick of hearing this. But I love love love my mission. I love what its teaching me. Yesterday Francisco received the Priesthood and bore his testimony and I just love that kid. I may have helped them a little bit but they have helped me much more.
I have never been so happy.
Have an amazing week and on the 12th, please feel free to send a happy birthday message to my girl EMILY BEARDALL.
love you.

Week 72

Temblores, Transfers, Tears

This week as I start my first week of my last transfer in the mission I can think of one word.... grateful.
I am so grateful for the last transfer I had with Hermana Gonsalves and for all she taught me. Really I am so grateful for all my companions from around the world who have changed my life.
I am grateful for the members who have taken me in and loved me.
I am thankful for those who have listened to our message and then have acted on being baptized.
And I am thankful for all of you and the support you have given me to this point. You have no idea how much you have helped me while I have been here in Chile.
This week I sent Hermana Gonsalves off to her home and that was sooo hard but we will forever be friends, I love her so much.
I received Hermana Aguayo from Concepcion Chile and I am super excited to see what this transfer brings.

To clear up all your worries.. Yes there are a TON of earthquakes (temblores) happening right now super close to San Antonio in Valpariso. So we have felt them super strong. It's been crazy but we are prepared. Pray for me!
love you,
love Hermana Beardall

Week 71

Ohana!
This transfer is coming to an end this week and I am getting ready to send off Hermana Gonsalves and receive 1 more companion for my last transfer. I cant believe how fast time is going, I wish it could slow down a little. I am learning more and more every day how aware God is of me and each of His children. I have had so much fun with Hermana Gonsalves and have learned so much from her and her sweet spirit. The mission is so rewarding, I'm so happy!
This week we have traveled a lot for all of Hermana Gonsalves trunky stuff so I had time to write a poem.

God hates to see us suffer
But loves to see us grow
He sent His son to help us here
At times when we feel low

He promises to do His part
And so we must do ours
If we try to our best each day
He gives to us a power

I've felt this power many times
As I've left to do His will
He´s been with me through bad and good
And has helped my heart be still

This time that I have had here
Has made me who I am
I´ve been so happy serving here
And finding His lost lambs

God lives and loves us, everyone
He wants what's best for us
He promises us eternal life
If all we do is trust.

I love each and everyone of you. Be good.
